South Perth Play

So the usual last minute Sunday outing. This time back to South Perth; one of the places often frequented by us in the past. This time I finally managed to get Diep to come along as well. Decided to go in towards the zoo more instead of along the foreshore, though it was just like any other street area I guess.

So mostly photos of the other Togs up ahead.

UWA Shooties.

Came a bit late to this play at UWA, so only really got some shots towards the end. Was nice weather as always.

Film Towers and Icecream.

After ordering a horrendous amount of film from America, we decided to have a night to get together and build a tower out of all of it, seeing as we needed to get together to distribute it anyway. As a result we ended having a film jenga and icecream night. However, due to the nature of the film and the various shapes and sizes we couldnt really play Jenga. It was down to building a tower then which Vanni decided that it was her duty to destroy.

Picnic @ Araluen Botanical Gardens.

Sunny Sunday and we went to Araluen to go check out the botanical garden. There were tulips… lots of tulips. Got a bit boring in the end, but as we say, its better than sitting at home refreshing facebook!

Teresa & Jeff’s Engagement Party!

Had a moment of confusion as I came to Teresa’s house as they had changed the front porch since the last time I came there. Luckily for me there were signs all round telling me it was there. Had a good time and it was great to see some old faces again.

Pho @ My place & NB wandering.

Sunday had some of my photographer friends over for Pho. Was a good meal and I was a bit amused by Henry not knowing how to eat it. Sort of went past me that wouldn’t know how. Following a good lunch we then went round Northbride for a while for the usual walk.

Dinner and Drinks for John and CC’s Bday @ Royal Bar.

Saturday night at royal bar for CC and John’s birthday celebrations. Food was a bit on the expensive side for what it was but it was an enjoyable evening.

Dinner @ Satsuki Japanese Resteraunt.

Whooo informal birthday dinner. I must say even with the cost and small portions, the food here at Satsuki was really nice. Worth visiting on the odd occasion for some fine Japanese food. The food I has is shown below. Raw stuff yumm! Good to catch up with a couple of uni friends.

Chinese Society Moon Festival @ MINQ.

So on the day of my birthday I find myself taking photos for someone else’s event. Chinese society had a moon festival themed even in MINQ. It was good fun turning the blue room into a mini studio of my own. The wallpaper made for a really nice backdrop though I as a bit limited in terms of space to move around. At the end of the night they decided to grace me with a  cake from utopia.
